The Miami International Show has managed to surprise us with the news of a 2017 Cadillac Escalade being released. What is more than peculiar about this model is that the newest Escalade is based on the GM cousin molds like the Suburban and the Chevy Tahoe models and it also brings in some of the GMC Yukon as well. The redesign of all of the vehicles actually came at the same time so it is no wonder that they receive similar specs and features.
The Escalade expands its newest offer by giving us a roomier and a much improved setting. It also allows something that you rarely see on a GM full-size truck and that is a rear folding row which allows for a flat lad floor. This features is not only one of the most coveted features of the car but also something that was wished upon most of the fans when hearing about the redesign.
Also the second row has added two inches and it brings more ease when entering inside and is particularly comfortable for taller, larger-footed passengers. Headroom is also a big factor and their height is has also been accounted here. You can also get an option of adding captain chairs to the second row which is also a favorable option. All in all, you really get a decent setup with this sort of a car making the offer quite astounding.
As this is not the only thing that the newest 2017 Cadillac Escalade offers there are many more parts added as well which you will get to experience and see. Read all about it and in this review and also see when the release date is officially planed for.
Although the 2017 Cadillac Escalade resembles its GM cousins it still has a lot of standalone features which are only familiar to itself. There have been a lot of changes added which managed to upgrade this model to a far higher and better level. For instance, although the grille is similar to the models before, this time it adds far less chrome than it used to have. This makes the model look much more mature which is going to be an added favorable option for the older and more affluent crowd.
The headlights are something that is a recognizable Cadillac trademark and as it is a new feature for the Escalade it is not something that you have never seen from some other Cadillac models. The added taillights give a sporty appearance and add a dose of aggressiveness within goes well with the new somber atmosphere of the car. The rear bumper has been redesigned and is much smoother looking but the rear hatch is a little bit stately. A hidden feature is a standard two-inch trailer hitch receiver and as always it is going to be placed in the body-colored plastic access panel within the bumper.
The new 2017 Cadillac Escalade comes with a new offer of fit and fresh standard components. The door panels have been designed in a particularly nice way as they have a metallic door trim and lines that go from the door releases and flow perfectly to the other lines that dissect the panel. There are some storage nooks placed just breath the arm rests and are quite abundant as they hold everything that you need there. The leather stitching on the seats and other parts of teh cabin give a premium look and go with the flow of the entire new cabin.
The front and rear passengers will certainly like the combination of a wood and leather surrounding as the plastic-like faux wood has been removed. In fact, each interior color scheme comes with its own color-coordinating species of wood. On the other hand, the instrument cluster holds a TFT display and the Cadillac’s CUE system is placed in the center dash area.
The best part of the interior is that the passengers to the rear end receive two extra inches of foot room. This allows entering and existing the vehicle to be much easier and the bigger people who are being driven in the rear can benefit from the large captain’s seats. You can fold both the third and the second row completely flat and you can use the push button in the rear cargo load part for that. This is perhaps the best features that the Escalade has to offer and is going to be particularly interring to have it.
As a standard offer, the 2017 Cadillac Escalade comes with a 6.2-liter, EcoTec3 V-8 engine. This engine is just fitting enough for this kind of an car as it produces 420 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. For those of you who want some extra capabilities, there is an AWD version offered again. The car combines with a 6-Speed Automatic transmission system which comes as a standard option.
