The 2017 Jeep Wrangler is getting a release. This is a legendary model as all of you already know and it became an icon of American Independence ever since it was released in 1941 with the design of the Willys Overland company and the help from Ford Motors to make this car come to fruition.

The exterior of the newest 2017 Jeep Wrangler is going to combine the modern and traditional elements. They keep the legendary status of the car still alive by using the additions that we were all already familiar with. One of them is the seven-slot grille which makes a comeback but with a more aerodynamic slant given to it. The short and squarish windshield is also going to be a part of the design again but this time it is being reshaped to be more wind resistant as well. But because of this the folding windshield is going to be excluded from the design of the car.
The molded plastic park-bench bumper is placed up front with a new kind of a design but the ago between the bumper and fenders is going to be filled leaving us with a similar European-style one. The rear end of the Wrangler borrows some elements from one of the current Jeep designs so we may see some Renegade-like taillights. The thing that has been confirmed is the rotary shift knob for the ZF eight-speed automatic, which makes its first entry here. A rough-and-tumble cabin design is a staplemark of the company but it will come with an extremely updated technological interior which adds a lot of new modern elements.
The tech side adds a FCA’s 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, but this is going to be an optional offer as the base Wrangler models are getting a 5.0 Uconnect system. Whichever you use it is still a step forward compared from the current one fitted on the Wrangler. You also get a satellite radio, Bluetooth, navigation, some third-party applications and many more. The inside also has an easily removable carpet which exposes the metal floor pans when removed and some rubber grommets which are here as drain holes.
With the 2017 Jeep Wrangler release, there were a lot of implications that a diesel engine variant was going to be utilized here. As it is stated for now, the base version is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that makes 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque and will make up the powertrain by combining with the much-anticipated ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. But a possible diesel entry is the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel which is mostly likely going to be added. The almost-confirmed engine makes 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque and will certainly combine with a ZF eight-speed automatic gearshifter. For now there are no official updates made about the release date but unofficially it is coming sooner than we hoped it would be. The model is going t be available mid-year and not by the end of 2017 as many have already stated which is enough to get us excited for this legendary car. Expect the starting price to be $26,000, while the Unlimited is around $32,000, while the max possible price is around $50,000.
