The new 2015 Audi A3 Clubsport Concept is debuting this year on the 2014 Worthersee Tour tuning fest which will take place in Austria. The vehicle is a sedan type which promises a lot more power and speed. The car is going to be given a new four cylinder engine which will exponentially upgrade the trim of the vehicle. also the car is now going to perform over 500 horsepower which is a astounding figure for the Audi A3 vehicle.
Audi has also planned to upgrade its RS 3 Sportback, but as the Audi A3 is a sedan vehicle there may not be any need for a second sedan in the Audi fleet this year and the A3 might push out the other vehicle from production. For now enjoy the new 2015 Audi A3 Clubsport Concept vehicle which promises to be the start of the upcoming show in Austria.
2015 Audi A3 Clubsport Concept Exterior and Interior
Visually, the 2015 Audi A3 Clubsport Concept stands a lot similar to the S3. It is essentially the same design but with variable upgrades which make the A3 unique for its design. The greatest changes which make the 2015 Audi A3 Clubsport Concept are the included air curtains in the front intakes.
In the front we have a mesh grille which upgrades the visual experience greatly and with the inclusion of pumped fenders it completes the great new look of the Audi A3. The oval exhaust system and the new improved rear bumper make for the redesign of the back part of the vehicle. The sedan is finally fitted on some multi-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels which completed the overhauled design of the new Audi vehicle.
It will weigh a total of 3,366 pounds which will affect its acceleration and overall speed as well. An interesting fact is also that the new Audi A3 will feature a new paint job which will come as an interesting new option by presenting the new Magnetic Blue paint scheme. Not much is mentioned for the inside of the car. We have almost no information about the inside look but we are fairly certain that it won’t differ from the S3 vehicle that much greatly.
We also expect that there be some technological upgrades inside to enhance the overall comfort of the vehicle. For more information and for the exact updates we will maybe have to wait for its unveillance on the Austrian show.
The vehicle is set to be powered by a five-cylinder TFSI engine developing no more than 525 of horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The car can perform 0-62 mph in 3.6 mere seconds and achieve a top speed of 192 mph. the extensive modifications which were added to the performance of the engine make it possible.
Among some of the given changes are the large turbochargers which run close to 22 psi of boost pressure, the highs flow intake and the specially made exhaust system with the included dual-clutch transmission with a compact three-shaft layout. The hydraulically activated all-wheel drive system is in the heart of the vehicle while, for high torque numbers, a multi-plate clutch placed on the rear axle has been specially designed.
