Engine

IF you thought that the largest part of the modifications were done on the exterior and interior parts of the Genesis Coupe form Hyundai, you are more than wrong. The bigger part of the Blood Type Racing overhaul has been done under the hood of the car. The basis of the changes is the introduction of a Genesis’ 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The engine has been mostly rebuilt by using BC625+ forged connecting rods, valve guides and stainless steel valves. ARP supplied the flywheel bolts, head studs, main studs and cam tower studs, whereas Darton International supplied the cylinder valves, and Cosworth 90mm bore race head gaskets to top it off.. To make the car perform like a supercar a new turbo kit has been installed as well.

To stable the massive power of the vehicle a suspension coil over system and a Stance cup kit were added, so it will hold the rains of the vehicle while driving.
