The NSX model was one of the most favorite cars in the past century. Being developed with the input of the famous Ayrton Senna has certainly brought to the attention and popularity of the vehicle. The car was produced till 2005 when Honda pulled the plug on the production of this vehicle. Many were sadden with this move.

The vehicle is still under development and there are also some more things to work out. There was a small setback when the trial vehicle caught fire on the testing rink, but the developers have quickly managed to work around that and fix the problem. The vehicle is almost ready for the production line and we are expecting that the first generation be produced in Japan while the second continues on production in Ohio. Not all of the information have been release so we still have a lot of estimations that we are dealing with, we shall have to wait for the official release date to find out the accurate info.

The shape of the vehicle has still to be concluded. But as seen from the spy pics it is pretty much there. The car features a new design of the doors which stretches further down the front. There many of the parts which will need a bit more remodeling, meaning that this is still not the production design of the car.

The 2016 Acura NSX has a racer look to it which a supercar really needs. It is not a small thing being partially designed by Ayrton Senna, so the Acura model has to fit with the standards that the past and popular NSX model had given.

The car currently features a power plenum grille and air intakes in the bumper which may be changed with the production vehicle. The car looks great for now but will still use a lot of framework in order to shape it into what the car actually has to hold.

The interior, on the other hand, is going to use the Porsche 918 design. What they are trying to achieve with the design of the inside of the car is making the luxury fit the humans. So expect that the new 2016 Acura NSX vehicle to be the most comfortable one of its line yet.

As for the engine is concerned, the makers are planning for the 2016 Acura NSX being a complete technological wonder. The car is going to use a twin turbo W-6 engine with the addition of three electric motors and a dual clutch automatic gearbox. One electric motor will be matted to the engine while the other two will be fixed on the front wheels.

To fit all of this together the Acura’s innovative Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system will be introduced. This will be enough to tip the new Acura NSX just past the 500 horsepower mark. The car will be able to reach a speed from a total standstill to 60mph in under four seconds.

The 2016 Acura will also be able to devise a top speed of 190 mph, which is pretty impressive for all of the NSX fans out there.

Release Date and Price

The release date is still a mystery, or rather the actual release date. The car is going to be out at the end of 2015. After that we will be able to get a better glimpse of the car and find out more which we have not have the chance to find out till now. Acura is still keeping some things hush hush so as to surprise all of its fans.

The price, on the other hand, is currently estimated at $130,000 in the US. We do not expect any changes to occur with the pricing at the time of the arrival of the vehicle but stick and stay with the news about the 2016 NSX just in case. The car is definitely a bit pricier than everybody expected it to be but some say that it is well worth the price give.
