The Boss 302 Mustang is actually a high performance version of Ford Mustang, manufactured in 1969. Ford resurrected that model in 2012 and 2013 and it was produced for Trans Am racing series. This is actually going to be the sixth generation of Ford Mustang’s pony car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. One of the main improvements for this sixth generation is going to be a fully independent rear suspension on all models as well as of an optional 2.3 liter EcoBoost turbocharged and direct injection four cylinder engines. The first one, 2016 Ford Mustang Boss 302R is made with a basic design and look, but the 2016 Ford Mustang Boss 302S is a menacing machine with powerful racing design and appearance. The muscular hood is made of fiberglass with adjustable splitter. The back is updated with carbon fiber too, and styling is boosted even more with BBS racing wheels. On the top of all, there will be more colors to choose from, as well as some details that should boost aerodynamics.

For a sport car, you don’t need some eight inch touch screen as a navigation panel or multimedia entertainment screens for the rear seats, or any other unnecessary peripheries. Everything you need from it is under the hood, leather wheel, couple of racing seats, quality shifter and a full tank.
It is not confirmed yet, but there are some indications that 2016 Ford Mustang Boss 302 engine will be a 5.0 liter Ti-VCT V8 Boss racing engine with a high capacity aluminum radiator, tuned for racing. All that power is going to be tamed with Tremec six speed manual transmission through the rear wheels. Precise specifications are not yet certain, but we can take a wild guess that those specifications are going to be pretty close to Camaro SS or Porsche Cayman.
