The 2017 Dodge Durango is virtually something that we can get excited about. In fact, the recently released crossovers and SUVs have started to produce a steady way of predictable vehicles with less innovations and a lot of their selling pints are not as we have expected them to be. But when you add a bit of high-performance of the mix, people get completely excited about it.

Exterior

The redesigned version adds “Beats by Dr. Dre” audio system  and the Premium Nappa Leather Group and you get a choice of  Radar Red Nappa leather seats, which you can also see on the Charger and Challenger models. The optional equipment is truly inspiring and will raise the elegance level and usefulness of the car.

Engine specs

In order to back up the more aggressive appearance of the new 2017 Dodge Durango, we get an appropriate engine to back things up. This time the choices falls on the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 which comes as standard. It specs say that it can deliver  360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, as it is updated with  cylinder deactivation which enables a very decent fuel economy even with the rear-wheel-drive models. The EPA rates give us a performance of 14 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. Finally, the towing capacity has been raised and now amounts to  7,400 pounds.

 

 

Release date and price

The prices are already familiar for the lattes 2017 Dodge Durango. The base version is going to sell at  $30,495, while the RWD R/T is priced at $39,795 and the AWD version is sold at  $42,295. Expect to see the car in action in the beginning of the year when the release date is set for.
