Proceed to look what the American auto manufacturer intends to put out.
2018 Ford Taurus SHO engine
Ford has lined up 3 different engines which bring something different to the table. Rest assured that whichever piece you go for, you are sure to get power!
The low end variant will sport a V6 engine with a 2.0 liter capacity. It will be able to churn out a maximum horsepower of 240 hp and a torque of 270 pound-feet. The mid range trim is an improvement on this. In this variant, one will find a 2.7 liter V6 engine which produces 325 hp of horsepower and torque of 375 pound-feet.
The top end trim is equipped with the monster of all V6s in the 2018 Ford Taurus SHO. In this mid size sedan, one is bound to find a 3.5 liter V6 engine whose horsepower results exceed 350 hp.

The trims are available in all wheel drive or two wheel drive. They will work in tandem with a 6 speed automatic transmission gear box.
Despite these huge V6s, Ford claims that the EcoBoost technology installed in them will have them taking sips of fuel rather than gulps.
The exterior of the new Taurus SHO
One is more than likely to fall for the 2018 Ford Taurus SHO because of the aesthetics. The design team must have clocked a lot of overtime when working on this mid size sedan.
Much of the aggressive and sporty character of this Ford is gotten from the front end. The design of the hood shows off excellent craftsmanship. This is seen through the trio of smooth lines running down to join the front grill.
The front headlights take on a mean outlook to life. They are reminiscent of eyes of a bird of prey, further accentuating that aggressive character. Ford has also installed a new design of fog lights that enhance the look of the Tausrus SHO.
The side of the car is largely smooth save for a keen line going across at handle level. The aesthetics here are enhanced by the multispoke wheels.
According to CarAndReviews.Net, Ford claims that the interior is going to be redone and different from the previous models.
There are reports suggesting that the cabin of this sedan is quite cozy and this is due in part to the heated seats. Leather covers these seats, leading to a very chic and elegant interior. They come in a bucket shape adding to the ergonomics.
Ford has installed its SYNC 3 infotainment system. This is quite good because it is quite simple to use, with no complications whatsoever. The central hub has been redesigned giving the dash area an impressive look.
The LCD screen is now larger than before making the characters easier to see and to use. This also makes the navigation far more efficient and easier.
The interior space is a snug fit for long fellows and there storage space is not that big. This is not surprising, however, because this is a mid size sedan.
