Tesla Model 3 Price: Release Date, Review, Interior and More

By

Tesla is the biggest name in the electric automobile world right now.  They have come quite a long way from creating the Tesla roadster in 2008 to 2012 to now creating the Model S P100D and Model X.

Tesla’s new ownership under billionaire Elon Musk has skyrocketed the company to new heights (Space X pun) and allowed Tesla to pave the way for not only electric vehicle travel, but also autonomous technology like Tesla’s new autopilot system.  While still really a concept, the auto pilot shows what can be done with technology and automobiles today.

With the rapid growth in Tesla, the company has taken on a new challenge.  That new challenge is bringing electric cars to the mass market, rather than the Model S that has more limitations and starts at $68,000+.

Bringing electric cars to the mass market poses its struggles like scattered charging stations, mileage limitations, technological limitations and more.  But, if anyone is going to attack this kind of challenge, it will be Elon Musk and Tesla.

This is where we introduce the Tesla Model 3 price.  The Model 3 promises to be the car that brings electric technology to the mass market in a better way than the electric cars we see from other manufactures.

The Tesla Model 3 price will start at $35,000 before government incentives and offer 215 miles of range. Those are some fantastic facts to help wet the pallet.

Tesla’s design team is one of the most talented group of people in the world.  I can’t think of a bigger honor than to be on such a closely watched design team really, and I can’t say I’d be cut out for the job.  With that said, the Model S has a very ugly rear end.

Anyway, the Model 3 will essentially be a baby Model S.  Which is good, because the Model S is so successful and desirable in today’s world.

The Tesla Model 3 price has a pretty much blank face, apparent with the absent front grille (you don’t need a grille on an electric car).  And the simple face looks much more mass-production than the Model S.

While I do think the Model 3 looks more like a bland kitchen appliance than a sport sedan, I can’t deny it is pretty sharp.

Tesla Model 3

The side view of the Tesla Model 3 makes the car look like a shrunken Tesla Model S.  The Model 3 shares the exact same roof line and body but the nose and trunk are shrunken.  That’s not to say the outline isn’t attractive, as it is.  The silhouette is  sloped and edged in a very elegant way.  Regardless of what I think, the Tesla Model 3 stands out in traffic like some sort of space ship.

The rear end of the Tesla Model 3 price has the same issue as the Tesla Model S, and the Model X.  The tail lights are slightly reworked versions of what we see on the Model S.  I want to like the rear end for it’s shape, but it’s not entirely pleasing.

Overall, the Tesla Model 3 is a pretty sharp little electric car, and the fact that over 130,000 people reserved one makes sense.

The Interior-Tesla Model 3 price:

The interior of all Tesla’s are pretty recognizable given one piece of kit.  And that is the massive computer screen that dawns the center console.  Nothing else is really as prominent as the giant computer they stick in there, and the system is actually pretty intuitive and easy to use based on more than one review.

The Tesla Model 3 price is no different from the other Tesla models it seems.  Tesla has shown images of the interior, and it almost seems like they have a sense of humor.

The desktop screen that resides inside of the Tesla Model 3 is absolutely huge.  There is no instrument cluster, no gauge scree, and no knobs or buttons any where for the driver or passenger. All there is, is a massive screen plopped right in the middle of the dashboard.

From the looks of it, the screen looks easy enough to use, but to call it pretty is just a lie.

Tech freaks love Tesla’s, and it’s easy to see why.  The Tesla Model 3 is capable of seating 5 adults in a 3 Series spacial type.

The Performance-Tesla Model 3 Price:

Tesla’s are famous for outperforming cars way above their class and even their price-point.  The Tesla Model 3 should be just the same as it’s sibling cars, but details are very scarce.

However, Tesla gave us a good idea of what they expect out of the new Tesla Model 3.  So far, we can expect a 0-60 time of under 6 seconds, a full charge range of 215 miles and a base price of around $35,000.  That’s pretty much it.

I do trust that Tesla will deliver on these promises, as we’ve seen more extreme promises and delivery out of the Tesla Model S.  However, that model is around double the price of the Tesla Model 3.

Sum It Up:

Tesla is doing some amazing things in the world today.  Even outside of the cars they produce, Tesla is paving the way as a technology company that redefines what a manufacture can do.

The Tesla Model 3 promises to be one of the best and most affordable electric cars out there with fantastic capability and most importantly, the Tesla name.  Expect a release date for late 2019, as orders are being taken for the car right now.
